Pride House

Pride House is a space for LGBTQAI+ students and allies to live together to explore topics surrounding gender and sexuality. This community is open to first-year students who are interested in learning about topics such as sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, gender expression, and inclusion. Students who participate in Pride House will explore the intersections of their personal experiences and those of their community members. They will also expand their awareness of topics such as the evolution of language and terms, have critical dialogue surrounding current events, and will be encouraged to attend campus-wide speakers and events related to gender and sexuality. Students who participate in Pride House will also have the opportunity to participate in LGBTQAI+ mentoring opportunities with faculty/staff, join queer clubs and organizations, and create queer inclusion programming for the larger community.
