Fraternities and sororities within the Fraternity & Sorority Commons offer more than just social engagement—they are communities focused on academic success, leadership development, and personal growth. As part of our commitment to supporting student achievement, several of our organizations provide scholarship opportunities for both incoming students and current members. Each scholarship has its own set of requirements and deadlines, so applicants should carefully review the details before applying.
Below are three (3) current Chapter scholarship opportunities:
- Sigma Phi Epsilon – Balanced Man Scholarship
Open to first-year RPI students who demonstrate academic excellence, leadership skills, and a commitment to well-being.- Application Close Date: November 1, 2024

IFC Scholarship Opportunities
Sigma Phi Epsilon, Balanced Man Scholarship
Every year, Sigma Phi Epsilon awards their Balanced Man Scholarship to RPI students who exhibit academic excellence, demonstrate leadership skills, and display commitment to pursuing holistic health and well-being. All first-year RPI students are eligible for the scholarship. You will be asked to provide personal, academic, and extra-curricular information during the application.
Alpha Sigma Phi, To Better the Man Scholarship
At Alpha Sigma Phi, our mission is to Better the World through Better Men, and through this scholarship we honor and reward men who exemplify our values — Silence, Charity, Purity, Honor, and Patriotism. All undergraduate men enrolled as full-time students this academic term, are eligible to receive this scholarship. Applicants can expect to schedule an interview within two weeks of submission.
Acacia, Men of Action Scholarship
This semester Acacia is providing 4 undergraduate RPI students a chance to receive a $500 scholarships! Any undergraduate student at RPI is eligible.
